As promised, the Hasbro Transformers team is showing the Legacy United Wave 4 figures this week. Mark Maher has just posted our 2nd reveal today following Slipstream, with previews for United G1 Quake & Target Masters Tiptop and Heater, with some notes on the figures that you can read below. Look for these to go on sale Thursday June 13, at 1pm ET / 10am PT. Order while they last at the following sponsored links:
I’m very glad we could finally complete the Decepticon double target master trio collection. I’ll post more in hand shots of this guy later today so you can really get a sense of how this guy fits in with the rest!
He was a partial which was challenging due to having the target masters fit in the plan. But I felt they were a must have as somtimes in the past we weren’t able to find a way to fit them in. I really love the robot design attributes of the target master dudes, it was also challenging trying to figure out how to get these guys in there right color deco’s.
The deets for this bad boy are as follows: utilizing the Skullgrin mold foe the partial which really gave him the size he needed to fit alongside Needlenose and Spinister. He has multiple different attachement places for the blast effect compatible target masters. His blast effect compatible turret can swivel with articulation upwards for the cannon. Colors and look are accurate to his character persona. His tank is more of a Sherman speeder tank with attributes of the abrams, mostly details.
More coming so hang tight and enjoy the week of reveals!
UPDATE - United G1 Quake & Target Masters Concept Design Notes Posted
The last year or so of releases, capped off by this Soundwave, has convinced me that Hasbro is in worse financial shape than we believe. I mean, not to even have new tapes for Soundwave is pathetic. I have to agree with many that this Siege SW mold could of and should have been given a redo ss86 style. Unfortunately, this is just diminishing the ss86 good will that fans had come to expect from a slightly more premium line. Hasbro is dei-ying. ?

The article clearly says Leader Class. They packed in 3 core class figure so they could charge you $55 for a Voyager while making you pay for a set of core class figures you probably already have. I've had enough of this crap from Hasbro. They clearly don't respect their dedicated customers and fans.
He's a Voyager.

We're well beyond the days of Siege with overly detailed surfaces and now are in the phase of esthetics being defined as "less is more" shown by the Legacy Stunticons and the studio 86 series. At a leader class price point, I'm not certain I would want to spend that money on figure that no longer would have a prime location in my collection.

Will she ever get a Masterpiece version?
Sureshot, anyone?
