We first saw the Transformers 40th Anniversary Retro: G1 Optimus Prime Walmart exclusive at SDCC 2024 in July. Now it is rolling out to retail with a listing from Australian retailer, JB HI-FI. Here we get the official images look at the original G1 mold figure that is being made in cartoon colors.
They swapped out the chrome for silver paint and made the bumper white, made the Autobot symbol more toon like, and the trailer has been updated with a more MP style white stripe down the side. We also get the Diaclone style bloated ion Blaster rife, silver Roller, and light blue trailer parts. As before, there appear to be no stickers included. Read on to see official images and details on the next Walmart Retro reissue.
