Following the Official Reveals, The Hasbro licensed Auldey Transformers Wave 1 non-transforming figures are previewed with some in-hand images of pre-production samples just in from the Asia SNS.
These look like some of the best Mini-figures yet with a nearly perfect G1 look that really captures the classic cartoon style. They don't disappoint in-hand as we can see the nicely styled reusable packaging, alternate hands, and a card that are included. It is positioned as a small-scale movable blind box. There are many clever ideas added to the movable. Each one is equipped with a shoulder extension joint, a thigh pull-down joint, and a different structure for the bending range according to different shapes. There is a certain degree of anti-collision. The largest range is Soundwave and Optimus Prime. The ankle grounding is equipped with three joints to ensure basic left and right grounding. The stretching joint can be used to reach a large range forward. The forefoot uses a ball joint, so it can be pseudo-grounded. Combined, it can basically meet the grounding needs of all scenes.
Each one has 3 pairs of replacement hands, Jazz's trumpet, Arcee's three guns are also included, Cliffjumper brought a power gun, and Optimus Prime didn't give an energy axe. It's a pity that he didn't give an energy axe. Flying over the mountain, Soundwave and Laserbeak are in one box. There is a pair of replacement hands. The counterweight uses energy blocks as a small easter egg, which can also be used with scenes.
There is no problem with joint damping at present. Ball joints are used more frequently, and whether they can withstand playing remains to be considered. It would be better if the neck and head range can be optimized. At present, the neck and head are integrated, and the replacement hands are straight, so the hands cannot swing. In order to complete the shape, the hips are not divided into skirt armor, so the front kick needs to cooperate with the pull-down joint to achieve a larger range. The overall shape sacrifices a little mobility.
This set in my hand is a pre-production sample. The weapon is painted, so it will be tight in the hand. The paint and installation tightness of the production should be adjusted. The actual product shall prevail.
Wow the scale on those is way off for some of them.
They look pretty good though. All depends on price.
