The Transformers Age Of The Primes Leader Megatronus / The Fallen leader class is out in Asia, and @NOTRAB has shared a generous gallery of images. Check out the translated notes and images for the first of the 13 releases that is burning for your shelf space.
Megatronus / The Fallen is released. This character who has appeared in some themes and has experienced a transformation from good to evil, and has directly affected Megatron's fate. This toy image is based on the shape in Dreamwave. This image has also been released before, and I happened to take a photo: Web link
This is the most satisfactory one among the several originals I have played so far. As a representative of strength and resistance, the head sculpture has made the cruel feeling in the original work, and the body has restored the solid proportions. It is still very oppressive to hold it in your hand. The flame special effect parts add a lot of color to the toy. It can be matched in human form and tank form. This bright color has a good effect of embellishing dark toys, especially human form.
As a transformable toy, the completion is very good, there is basically no goof around the body, and the design is very good. Of course, the transformation of tanks has long been no difficulty for designers, and they have rich experience in recent years (the tank transformation of 86 Megatron, which will be launched this year, has ushered in a new iteration). This Megatronus is a toy I like very much. The first wave of the year, the offensive is very fierce.
If we don't get a sticker set and some horns to turn this GS Trypticon into Gigastorm from Toyhax, it would be a bigger waste than Hasbro not just releasing this as Gigastorm with a sticker sheet and some horns so it could be either.
Seriously though, just make some translucent orange horns to replace the translucent orange nose cannon cover. Then have some purple stickers for the central ramp with the silver Predacon sigil, some teal stickers for the spots and some silver and gold highlights for the hips, tail and arms.
But really, how do you redeco/reissue Trypticon and NOT make it Gigastorm? Especially after the overwhelming positive reception for Magmatron. People want some more Japanese Beast Wars love. Gigastorm, Big Convoy, Galvatron, Stampy, Moon, Heinrad, Longrack, Mach Kick. More than just Lio Convoy exists. Skywarp was a fluke as they just didn't want to name it Silverbolt even if Skywarp is a name that's even more known and used than Silverbolt. We have multiple versions of Skywarp and others all the time, we can handle three different versions of Silverbolt a few years apart each.
I can't justify $90 for what looks like an oversized legacy scale figure.
I was excited to hear we are getting Horri-bull and maybe there's still hope for Sureshot, too.
