Daily Prime - DLX Optimus Primal Beast Wars Universe Limited Edition Exclusive from threezero

Following the Wonderfest 2025 debut, threezero has revealed their DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition) Exclusive Version based on the design from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie and inspired by the classic Beast Wars: Transformers character! It features Optimus Primal’s signature red, blue and black color scheme, as well as the “Maximals” insignia on his chest, paying homage to his appearance as seen in the computer animated series!

DLX Optimus Primal exclusive version will be available for pre-order on April 17, 2025 at 9am HKT / 3pm ET / 6pm PT at threezero Store. The release is limited to 400 pieces, while supplies last. The Exclusive Version includes an additional Mutant Mask and a Skull Flail, paying homage to the vintage Beast Wars figure! The Skull Flail has two forms: it can be assembled using the metal chain included with the product, or it can be transformed into a “Melee form” by disassembling the metal chain.

This item is limited to 1,600 pieces available worldwide. Pre-orders will only be accepted during the specified period or at selected events. There will be a standard version for the DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition), which does not include the exclusive Mutant Mask and a Skull Flail from the Exclusive Version. Details for the standard version will be announced at a later date.

The "DLX Optimus Primal" action figure based on the movie "Transformers: Beast Awakens" is now available in color variations that pay homage to the anime "Beast Wars: Super Life Form Transformers"!

The "DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition)" is a fully movable figure (non-transforming) that stands approximately 28.5 cm tall. The distinctive red, blue, and black paintwork is a homage to the anime "Beast Wars Super Life Form Transformers," and the Maximal logo is on the chest. In addition, as new weapons for this color variation item, two pairs of mega blasters can be equipped on the back and wrist cannons on each forearm. The angle of the mega blaster can be adjusted, and a missile made of clear parts can be fired from the tip with a spring. The mega blaster can be attached and detached to the forearm with a magnet.

In addition, the DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition) Limited Edition comes with a Beast Mask and Meteor Hammer as additional parts! The Meteor Hammer can be used in either a mace form with the head and handle directly connected, or a flail form with the head and handle connected by the included metal chain.

The DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition) has a die-cast metal frame, and the figure has 74 movable points, the most in the series. The actuator cylinders on the torso, arms, and legs are actually movable. It is precisely painted, including weathering. The characteristic fur on the shoulder armor is reproduced with soft PVC. The head mask parts come with three types of interchangeable masks (battle mask with closed mouth, battle mask with open mouth, and face without battle mask). The eyes are equipped with LED light-up function. Two characteristic cyber blades are included as weapons. The cyber blades can be combined into one via a connector, or connected via the included metal chain. Four pairs of interchangeable wrist parts and one DLX action stand are included, allowing you to recreate various scenes from the movie.

The DLX series brings the complex designs of Transformers to life in figures of just the right size and with excellent cost performance. The metal frame not only allows for a wide range of motion, but also gives the figures a comfortable weight and sturdiness.
