These are hard-times for Transformers collectors that are caught in the crossfire of the Trump Tariff Wars. No one seems to know exactly how this will impact pricing and availability of new releases, which may be connected if prices drive down demand or vice versa.
Today, we have what may be a first clue to prices to come as Gamestop has updated their site with what may be the new Post-Tariff prices on all new releases. The increases that average out to about 30% across all the classes. It is presumed this is for new, unreleased Generations and Studio Series products.
Hasbro has said the new retail prices would be the same MSRP for all retailers. Unless this is a mistake by GameStop, or price gouging, we may be seeing these prices from other retailers soon as well. The new Transformers class prices are appearing at this time on the GameStop site as follows:

I'm pretty certain I am done collecting at this point in my life. I'm 45 now and have a family and no longer think I will be getting the value for my dollar with Hasbro. With them shrinking deluxe figures, and shifting deluxe size figures with one or two bonuses for a Voyager price point, the product is just not worth it for me. Imagine paying $42 for this years SS Scrapper? Yeah, no thanks!
Transformers are currently manufactured in Vietnam mostly. The tariffs on China should be only be felt on 3rd party (official and unofficial) products.
That doesn't mean Hasbro won't use them as an excuse to raise prices. They have to pay for the move to Boston after all.
