Silver Tank Megatron In-Hand Images of Kodansha's Transformers FANBOOK 2025 Exclusive

We just saw the first official images of the Kodansha Transformers FANBOOK 2025 Silver Tank Megatron Core Class, and it is already rolling out to fans in Japan. 

This new edition updates the Kingdom Core Class (left) with what are said to be silver gunmetal parts (right) that look more like the original G1 Transformers figure. Thanks to our old friend @Snakas, who has posted in-hand images and a short review of the figure that you can see below.

Comparison with the standard version of the "Genuine Perfect Transformation Bonus Silver Tank Megatron" from Kodansha's Transformers FANBOOK 2025, released on September 29th.

This product is a modified version of the Core Class Megatron released at WFC Kingdom in 2021. Unlike the Core Class Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from previous FANBOOK bonuses, which were molded in clear plastic, this one comes in a color scheme closer to the standard version.

One particularly noticeable difference is that the gunmetal parts of the standard version are now molded in silver, giving it a more typical Megatron look. Additionally, the black molding color has become even darker. The coloring has been reduced compared to the standard version, eliminating the red on the sides of the belly and the finely painted belly panels.

Although not mentioned in the product's instructions, the included pistol can be attached to the back in robot mode, recreating the gun barrel on G1 Megatron's back.
