Daily Prime - Lio Convoy Legend! The Green Warrior Version Beast Wars II New Legends Figure

Just in are some new images of the Takara TOMY Lio Convoy Legendary Green Lion New Transformers Legends figure that was announced recently. Thanks to TT @herakuwa we have a look at this curious redeco that glows in the dark from the store display at Yodobashi Akiba in Tokyo, Japan

The story behind this figure is quite interesting paying homage to the Beast Wars II episode where the so-called father and son become one. Protecting Lio Convoy from the Amalgamous energy, the shield from the Energon Matrix that is going to burn him up when it breaks.

When Lio Convoy Junior discovers the leader in peril, he defiantly rushes to the rescue. The two characters become one and emerge as The Green Warrior who uses the MATRIX-TYPHOON to clear out Galvatron, Gigastrom and the rest. Watch the "Beast Wars II - The Legendary One!
