Lost dreams link together across time! The "Missing Link" series is a virtual reprint of what may have existed in that era. This 13th installment features Grimlock, the commander of the Dinobot dinosaur army! In 1985, the Dinobots gained popularity with their innovative approach, adding five mecha-dinosaur-like units to the Autobot army, which had previously been primarily composed of car-like units.

Grimlock, the commander, now appears in Missing Link with a completely new design and enhanced with numerous additional features. C-13 recreates the original color scheme from the anime. Grimlock transforms from a mecha-type Tyrannosaurus into a robot. While retaining the same die-cast construction, both forms feature movable joints for flexible posing. Since the emblem's location differs from C-12, the robot mode chest has been redesigned to recreate it. The included "saber" weapon is red, reminiscent of the original toy and the overseas comic version, and is made of hard plastic to recreate its sharp shape. The handheld "Double Laser Gun" comes with a two-tone color scheme that's different from the C-12, based on the anime version, and the "Missile Launcher" also features a similar color scheme.

The missiles on the missile launcher can be attached and detached for creative play. A "human" (worker type) figure of the same type as the one included with the C-05 Sunstreaker is included, and can be placed inside the dinosaur by opening the cockpit hatch on its back. The Grimlock body also comes with a "secret emblem," which appears when heated with your finger. The back of the robot is equipped with a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing for display in action poses. The package illustration is a newly drawn illustration inspired by the original, and a collection card is also included.
