I hope this puts to rest anyone still claiming that it's in any way a retool of any Ironhide figure released lately. It has a similar transformation to a few as I already pointed out but that's it.

The price is starting to make more sense now seeing as to how tall it is. It was difficult to tell how tall it was just from pictures of it by itself. But seeing it next to Optimus and Ironhide brings it into perspective.

I preordered one from Target with the $15 off Target Circle coupon. So it made it about $30. I was far more comfortable with that price. Although $15 off another troopbuilder set would've been nice too.

I couldn't care less about Stranger Things but that looks pretty cool.

I can't help but think I've seen this transformation somewhere before. It looks like a cross between Earthrise Grapple, SIege Ironhide, SS86 Ironhide and somehow Universe 2.0 Ironhide but that's not what I'm talking about. Maybe a bit of MP Ironhide? I don't know there's just something about the way that chest works and the back kibble that reminds me of a very specific toy but I just can't place it. Someone will think of it at some point...which I literally just did while typing that.

It's SS86 CORE class Ironhide. Who was actually sitting next to me the entire time too. It's pretty much the exact same transformation. The shoulders are now attached to the back kibble instead while not having any parts of the windows on them, the legs are rotated 45 degrees outward and the front bumper stays on the chest instead of rotating to the back but it's the same overall scheme and parts layout. And of course there are actual feet now which change up the transformation a bit.

I'm loving all the weapons. A shoulder cannon and two melee weapons.

I wonder if this is going to be a deluxe or voyager though. The price could be a $10 markup from a voyager due to licencing and it being a seemingly entirely new mold. However it could be a $20 markup from a deluxe due to the same reasons. The Crossovers have wildly different markups due to different things at times. So either can hold true. Only time will tell though so no use dwelling on it. It would be nice to see more of 'cons though. We only have two so far and they're both Predacons with one just being a new head redeco.
