Transformers Missing Link C-15 Ratchet

Release Date: December 2026

Retail Price: 16,500 yen / $104 USD

Lost dreams connect across time! The "Missing Link" series presents a virtual reissue of what might have existed in that era. The 15th installment features Ratchet, the Autobot nurse! Ratchet was

released overseas in 1984 as part of the initial lineup, but general sales were not carried over when he was introduced in Japan in 1985. The original product separated from the car into two mechs, with the robot part being a power loader type that differed significantly from the appearance depicted in the anime, and the head being recreated with a sticker placed on the seat through the windshield. This time, Missing Link attempts a virtual reissue of what Ratchet might have looked like if the original product had been created with a heroic concept on par with the other Autobots, and in a style closer to the anime.

Ratchet transforms from an ambulance-type Nissan Cherry Vanette van equipped with warning lights into a robot. While retaining the zinc alloy construction in some parts, this toy transforms from a car mode that closely resembles the original toy into a heroic robot mode in a one-piece transformation, allowing for a wide range of action poses in robot mode.

It can also transform into a third mode, "Respect Mode," inspired by the robot mode of the original toy. The "Spanner" weapon, which appeared in the anime, and the "Laser" weapon, just like the original toy, are included as plated parts. The rocket launcher on its back has detachable rockets, and the spanner and rockets can be stored inside the backpack. Some of the patterns that were originally reproduced with stickers are now recreated with three-dimensional sculpting and coloring. Foil stickers are also included for optional application.

A "human" (female type) figure, identical to the one included with C-11 Delta Magnus (sold separately), is also included and can be placed in the cockpit in any mode. A

"secret emblem" is also attached to the robot body; warming it with your fingers reveals the legion mark.

The robot's back features a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing for display in action poses.

The package illustration is a newly drawn piece inspired by the era, and a collectible card is also included.

*The car mode (Cherry Vanette) is licensed by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
