Lost dreams connect across time! The long-awaited Decepticons join the "Missing Link" series, a virtual revival of characters that might have existed in that era. Introducing the intelligence officer, Soundwave!

Soundwave, one of the most popular characters in the series, transforms into a stereo cassette and launches cassette troops from his chest. Maintaining the same size as the original and using zinc alloy in some parts to preserve the G1 style, he is revived in the Missing Link series with movable joints for free posing, a new transformation mode, and luxurious accessories.

This time, the Cassettebot Scout Robo, which is being made into a 3D model for the first time, is included with a newly designed model.

Appearing in the episode "Two Convoys" of the anime "The Transformers," Scout Robo is one of the reconnaissance drone-type Cassettebots that investigated the Colonium Crystal, but has never been made into a product before, and with this Missing Link, the Cassettebot vacancy is finally filled.

The Soundwave body reproduces some of the patterns that were reproduced with stickers at the time with 3D sculpting and coloring.

Foil stickers that can be applied as you like are also included.

Furthermore, the redesigned joints allow for significantly more freedom in action poses, such as "kneeling" and "eject poses." It can also transform into a third mode, the "Light Standard Mode" seen in the first episode of the anime, "The Road to Earth."

This mode resembles a streetlamp on its home planet, Cybertron, deceiving the Autobots.

Accessories include familiar equipment such as the Electric Launcher, Vibration Blaster Gun, and Barrier Case, as well as headphones, a command microphone, and a cord—features characteristic of the original Japanese release. Soundwave and Scout Robo also feature a "Secret Emblem," which reveals the army's mark when warmed with a finger.

Each also has a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing for display in action poses.
