Four Companies, One Game

Konami and its new allies collaborate and share characters.

"November 01, 2002 - Hudson Soft, Genki, Takara, and Konami will solidify their recent alliance with a "character mix battle" game starring all four companies' characters on PlayStation 2 and GameCube, the Nikkei Business Daily reported today. Konami has recently gathered the other three companies closer to itself, and the game is intended to create a more common identity around their various brands.

Produced by Hudson, the game is set to star Hudson's signature Bomberman characters, Konami's Twinbee and Goemon, Takara's classic Transformers and newer BeyBlade characters, and unspecified representatives from Genki (Super Magnetic Niu Niu, anyone?). No details on its title were included in the report, but it is intended for release some time in 2003."
