The heroic Decepticons wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of.......the AUTOBOTS!

Yeah, I can totally see that theme working. It's not a bad concept to do, frankly I'm surprised it wasn't done until now. Since we have evil Autobots, these color schemes are appropriate, even though they may not be the best around. It'll be interesting to see how the Decepticons look in this set.

I have to say that Goldbug looks better to me than Optimus Prime.

I'm really starting to love these a lot.

It's getting better. I really like this Goldbug, and maybe Prime is the only fugly one and they just showed it first to get it out of the way.

The purple with green highlights is hideous, I must say. Green with purple highlights is much nicer. Personally, I wish they had gone with "Prime in Megatron's colors" instead of some random ugly color-scheme.

Isn't purple with green a variation on G2 Megatron?

... man, for some reason, this set makes me miss G2.

I really like Goldbug's mold. Think his head should be black, not blue, but I like that mold. Looks much better in Goldbug's colors than Hot Shot's.

BTW: MEGATRON RULES!

More Transformers should have mottos scrawled on them IMO.

You mean like "Eat THIS, Autobots!"?

:tfpwn

Or more recently,to punish and enslave.
