these have grown on me, i wasn't a fan until i got thundercracker, now i've gotta get skywarp. i painted a thundercracker into skywarp but the paint has rubbed off in places.

i'll het grimlock if i ever find it and if prowl is there i'll get him too but he's not one i'm gonna go to any effort to get.

^ no floppy in my Titanium collection. You must've been bitten by soundwave and Prime to have that sort of attitude. O' well.

I'm looking forward to these last two. And while I like SW's deco I'm afraid he's taking a back seat to the black Prime. Which btw, never arrived from a certain ebay seller and so I am forced yet again to turn to Hasbro's internet gun battle once more.

I don't have floppy Titaniums either, also the only ones I own are Ultramagnus, Scourge, and WW Megs. My buddy has the other Megatron and that

figure was flop-tastic. It really put me off Titaniums until I saw UM.

i had low expectations clicking on this thread & i was just being nosey but wow they are so horrendous i had to post about it :puke

Imo, its just Hasbro's photographers that make them look like :puke

still :win in my book once in hands i bet.

*Can customizers "fix" these problems wth the Titanium line? Or is it harder then a all plastic toy?*

i've got 4 and they're a complete waste of space - they look a LOT better in the photos

No i have them too Siburke, but was wondering if good customizers can work to this effect of making them super durable. Are you a customizer? Dont know, if so, then that could answer my quastion perhaps.

From what I've seen and my own buying experiences, Titaniums tend to have one good mode and one mode that makes you want to spork your eyes out. If both modes rock, then they will have one or more of:

- disappointingly simple transformation

- joint problems (floppy, too tight, over-springy, easily snapped)

- weight problems

- designs which make you scream because they could have been two hundred percent better with only minor changes, and it's even worse when at least one mode is so incredibly cool you'd sell your grandmother for it

Eh...Titaniums are kinda hit or miss....mostly miss. The only really nice one was Scourge in my opinion. They're too darn heavy and flop around, fall apart, and generally droop. I realize a lot of fans like the "ooh cool, real metal!" factor, but I think they belong in the scrap heap. Sorry, just hafta say it. Keep the plastic stuff comin' Hasbro.

I share your opinion...Scourge was the nicest looking one! The jets were alright too. Yeah, the whole 'diecast' factor was a cool idea, but in reality, these figures have a hard time holding up their own weight...especially with plastic joints connecting all that metal! That first Megs & Soundwave just crumble...and the later WW Megs is a brick! Classics & Animated have had some great plastic molds, with great articulation/posability...so yeah, keep those comin'!

oh yes! i would have preferred many of the Titanium molds to be released in plastic. i mean, just abit of re-tooling and they would make some sweet deluxes! :D it STILL looks to me that the new Classis 2.0 Galvatron was originally going to be a Titanium, but that's all just fan conjecture at this point i think. ;) i still think Hasbro should re-issue many of these titaniums as deluxe plastic formers with a bit of retooling to fit them in with the rest of the line. lol, call them expanded univers Transformers.

Buddykiller 2008-07-13 @ 2:02 am

they need to re-release g1 UM with these guys damnit.
