I may pick him up if I decide to go completist with the :animated line. otherwise I'll probably pass.

They've got plenty of Soundwaves... but I don't want to buy another one. I rarely get repaints, and I sure as heck won't have two identical figures. And I don't want to be one of those guys who buys a figure and then switches it out for my crappy one.

had to do that with animated bumblebee, classics astrotrain and plan on doing it with prowl once henkei is released. with any luck they'll have used decent paint that doesn't smudge)

it then gives room for kitbashes and repaints.

But seriously, I'd like a Soundblaster as I hope they would fix the sticky paint problem my Soundwave figure has. I shouldn't be afraid to play with my TFs... that's why I avoided Binaltech after I couldn't transform one without risking scratching his paint.

If a store near you has restocked recently, you might want to try another Soundwave. I got mine a few weeks ago and still no sticky paint issues.

Maybe Rescue Ratchet versus Stealth Soundwave (Soundblaster homage).

If they had done this with a Buzzsaw repaint of Laserbeak people would have bought it just for that. It's a really good idea.

What we got though is....just bad.

Man, I'd like a Black Soundwave redeco with a Buzzsaw.

... and a red Blaster remold with some new instrument.

... dammit.

Why does this repaint remind me of a carebear? Yellow with a pudgy white belly.. ?

"f'ugly" is the word. :) :P

It looks like Hasbro were trying to repaint Ratchet in movie colours but massively stuffed up and made him yellow instead of green. Green would still look bad on this mould mind you, but at least the proper movie colours would've been more justifiable.

I picked the normal TFA-Ratchett up today on a whim. Actually because I dont really want any repaints - so TFA will be my Ratchett and CL-Uni will be my Ironhide. :clap

I don't like this figure. I got it, I tried it, put him with 2pack Megs and StarScream on the "to be sold" pile.

This right here is an easy skip.
