Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen retreated at the box office this weekend the number three spot to contenders
Bruno and last week's #2 film
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, according to early box office estimates.
However, some good news is that
Revenge only slid 42% in its week-over-week gross at $24.2 million compared to the 62% slide in its second weekend.
The film has also surpassed the domestic gross of
Transformers at just 17 days at the box office, putting the film at a total domestic box office gross of $339.2 million.
As of Sunday,
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has amassed a little over $364.5 million in the foreign box office to put the film at a worldwide total of $672.3 million.
The film is currently at at the 16th spot on the list of all-time grossing films, only $500 million less than Disney Pixar's
Finding Nemo.
