More 2010 Tokyo International Anime Fair Transformers News and Images

Thanks to again to long time friend Yokubarion who has posted a gallery of images from the 2010 Tokyo International Anime Fair that is being held in Tokyo Japan this weekend. Following on the first report, we have many more images to see of the Takara Tomy Transformers products display at the show including new shots of Animated Japan products and more.

Transformers Animated Japan is the center piece this year with the show kicking off in Japan this week, it is only fitting Takara has the entire action figure line on display. There's all the new first wave toys as well as some from the next wave including Lugnut, Blitzwing, Soundwave, Arcee and Shockwave.

For gamers, Sega was on hand showing off the new Transformers Animated arcade style game called "The Chase." There are two kinds two-player of machines. One with guns. The other with steering wheels. Each machine has a slot that you can swipe bar-coded character cards that Takara is supposedly packing in with the toys.

The cards act as a key likely to choose a player and or function to unlock elements in game play. Various cards were on display including from Animated: Bumblebee, Megatron, Optimus Prime. There's even a Generation 1 Optimus Prime and Megaton shown that suggests the game is not exclusive to the Animated Japan series.

Also shown are the Diablock toys and the Super Deformed (SD) key chains that were one of the first TFA Japan products revealed. Then there's the Transformers Animates Battle Wheels. It is not entirely clear what they are. They look like spinning tops or some kind of bottle cap thing? If you aint got enough Game, there's also a trading card game that will be coming kids way. Looks like the usual type of deal with character cards being made and various kinds of chase and special collectibles variant packed in. Gotta catch 'am all?

Finally, not to be forgotten is the NEST line that will be coming to Japan later this year. On show were all the latest release include HA SKids with Agent Simmons, Mindwipe, Lockdown, Skystalker, EZ Collection G1 Colors Devastator and many more.
