BotCon 2010 - TCC Panel, Exclusives are Sideburn, Transtech Cheetor & G2 Ramjet!

As the grand finale in the Transformers Collectors Club pane here at BotCon 2010, three new exclusives in the pipe were revealed!

We have learned that the club will be releasing Sideburn, Transtech Cheetor, and G2 Ramjet.

Sideburn will be a repaint of Transformers Classics Hot Rod; Transtech Cheetor will be a paint of Animated Blurr with a resculpted head; and Classics Conehead mold will be released as Ramjet in Generations 2 colors!

Below is a full recap of today's panel:

The panel included Brian Savage; Larry Lathom; Pete Sinclair; Ben Yee; and Karl Hartman.

Larry began going through a slideshow that showed off the process of getting these figures recolored. The images include the test shots and Photoshopped designs of the figure.

It was revealed during the panel that there is a slim to none chance of TCC using Animated molds. We aren't touching Animated and not going into the Animated universe.

G2 Sideswipe is a possible future exclusive, but TCC says they'll have to revisit that later.

When asked about working with FansProject, TCC says that there's a lot of stuff they can do, but there are not enough hours within a day. It is not to say that they are throwing that idea out, but that is something they never thought about.

Asked about if there will be future Transtech exclusives for BotCon, they state that because Transtech is such a far different design than most, it would be hard to match the characters respectfully. Take a look at the pics in the gallery below!
