SGCollect has announced that they will be developing a model kit of IDW Publishing-created character Drift. Board member "Prodimus" reports that this will be a convention exclusive, but does not reveal the convention.
"Prodimus" promises that more details will follow, but this is what we know so far.
The painting will be kept to a minimum, but the collector may paint the figure, if s/he so chooses.
This limited edition kit will be available at an upcoming convention that will take place around July or August of this year.
Standing 5.5 inches tall, the figure will sport the Cybertronian mode of the figure, and will feature articulation on the level of a Classic and Henkei figure.
The figure will have three (yes, three) swords.

Of course, it should be noted this is on top of the
Hasbro-produced version of the figure, which, as far as we know, is still coming.
