The mystery of the new Takara Tomy figure we reported previously has been solved. The figure turns out to be Mega Drive Megatron which Transforms into a Sega Game Console. The new figure will be a special edition Sega toy made by Takara Tomy. It will be shown at the Winter Wonder Festival. The figure appears to act as a USB device judging from the right hand. Get a look at new images of the figure that have been released on Twitter below.

Sega's been whoring out the nostalgia recently. Last year they teamed up with Clevo to release custom skinned notebooks.

Would be kind of neat if you could plug him into a Computer and it had the entire Megadrive Collection you could play on it. Pretty neat idea, about 20 years late to the party I suppose, but better late than never huh? :tfevil

Reminds me of somthin' ol' school, though...that is, if there were a little less plastic & a little more metal. :thumb
