LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Megan Fox will play Shia LaBeouf's love interest in "Transformers," a live-action adaptation of the 1980s Hasbro toy line of giant robots that morph into cars, trucks, planes and ships. The DreamWorks project, which has a July 4, 2007, release date, is scheduled to start shooting this month in Los Angeles. Michael Bay is directing. Fox's credits include "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and the TV series "Hope & Faith."
