The plot begins to thicken just a bit more as
Transformers 3 (Dark of the Moon) continues its filming here in Washington DC. During the day yesterday, local ABC affiliate WJLA reporter Rebecca Cooper, Director Michael Bay, and a small film crew were spotted on the National Mall filming a faux news report.
Ms. Cooper will portray a CNN correspondent that covers the Capitol Hill news.
She "reports" that Congress has swiftly passed legislation that banishes the Autobots from American soil, effectively ending the agreement Autobot-U.S. military agreement that we saw at the beginning of
Transfomrers: Revenge of the Fallen.
The team that formed out of this relationship was N.E.S.T.
This may tie into the reason why Master Sergeant Epps, played by Tyrese Gibson, has reported as being
retired.
This also looks to help fit in another piece of the puzzle, which began way back in
May in Los Angeles, where a crossed out Autobot logo with the words "Go Home" below, was spotted.
The sightings of the exact logo occurred in various cities around the country where
Transformers 3 was being filmed at the time.
Take a look at the video of the scene by the Washington Post below:
