Y'know...I was whimpering over the fact that the American one didn't have red windows...but after seeing it done, I must say that the red doesn't seem to work well on this mold (the chest, specifically). It's too attention drawing. It looks awesome on the truck mode though. Weird.

I changed my mind - the Botcon purple Prime DOES look cooler. A lot cooler.

Pass, just give me the SDCC version and don't let the Hasbro server crash on me again.(sum beetch almost broke muh legs last time)

That's 'cus the doors are clear plastic that's been painted...

some times its down to the plastic. When something is painted black it tend to look alot nicer then black plastic and when their used side by side like these guys you can really see the difference

SDCC Prime's head and legs are actually dark blue, as well.

saying that I dont know why his head looks different when next to the body I guess it is a different colour plastic just like the universe nemesis prime (BWNeo big convoy)

its more then just that as you can see in my attached pic. also the silver on the doors of nemesis prime are blueish on the japanese toy

I have to say the US toy 1 will be cheaper and I think it works far better
