Tokyo Toy Show has kicked off in Japan, and the first day has left a huge impact already by showing us our first two Generations Selects Seacons! After debuting a silhouette image of Snaptrap - AKA Turtler - a little while back, we've got prototype photos of that, and the first Seacon limb, Skalor. Thanks to @gadepon and @booster11 on Twitter, we've got quite a few pictures to check out!
We also know now that the Seacons will be released individually, with Turtler/Snaptrap coming in at ¥6500, and Skalor being ¥3800. We don't know just yet when they'll be released, but we know we can expect the full combiner to be coming our way. Though whether that includes the full team of six, or just the original boxset five remains unclear. We're also getting to see a sample of the combiner hand and foot pieces, and the hand features individually articulated fingers, an upgrade over the old Power of The Primes hands.
Snaptrap is based on the engineering from POTP Hun-Gurrr, and Skalor, determined by expert analysis, is based on Blot. We can infer that the other Seacons will probably be based on the Terrorcon molds too, but if Skalor is an indicator, we think that ought to work out just fine.
We should be seeing more Transformers news from Tokyo Toy Show as we go to the weekend, so stay tuned for the latest updates!
