Autobase Aichi has posted new images of TakaraTomy Arts' second wave of Transformers Bitfigs! Standing just 4cm tall or 1.5"-ish, the new assortment includes two recolors - though Skywarp has a new expression compared to Part 1's Starscream - and two new figures, Ironhide and Soundwave! Gachapon (sometimes spelled Gashapon) are the Japanese versions of the vending machine capsule toys you see at supermarkets and ToysRUs stores, among others. They can get a good bit larger and more elaborate, though, sometimes comprising some extremely detailed and/or articulated figures for relatively cheap. For example, the Transformers Prime Arms Micron Mini-Cons were offered as Gachapon in Japan.
No release date is given, but the Bitfigs will run you 300 yen. Check your local Japanese vending machines today!
