As part of promotion for a "Historic Transformers Prototypes And Artwork" display at Pete's Robot Convention this June, Jesse Wittenrich has shared a picture of a resin preproduction piece for Beast Machines Megatron featuring a maskless facesculpt which obviously did not proceed farther in the production process. Along with this reveal, it seems based on documentation that accompanied this resin prototype that Megatron was considered as a Deluxe for at least part of its development life!
