Boulder Media has posted a job listing a 3D CG Supervisor for an unspecified animated movie. A subsidiary of Hasbro Entertainment, up to now Boulder has largely worked in the television field. But it appears they're gearing up for a movie, which they say will be the first produced entirely in Ireland. So, what's the property? They don't say, but it's listed as a "very well-known Hasbro property." There's quite a few of those... but about two years ago we did get some news that may tie into this. Keep reading for details! Back in September 2015, it was reported that writers Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, of Ant-Man fame, would be working on a CGI movie elaborating on the origins of the Transformers on Cybertron. We've heard nothing since... but it seems that has nothing to do with the Bumblebee movie, as they aren't credited for it. So it's possible, especially in the wake of Transformers: The Last Knight's weaker-than-expected performance, that the big-budget live-action films get a break and we get the Cybertron movie after Bumblebee.
This is all speculation of course, but what is real is that if you have a whole bunch of animation experience, Boulder may want you. Here's the listing!
