Bumblebee: The Movie
Bumblebee The Movie Energon Igniters Play Pattern Details Revealed
ExVee - Friday, March 02, 2018

Ever since first hearing of it in a product info dump from a retailer computer system, the Energon Igniters line coming up as part of the general toy tie in offerings for Bumblebee: The Movie has been a big question mark - and even Toy Fair came and went without further details being revealed. Via the unexpected source of Amazon India, we have some product copy that sheds a little light on the matter. Keep reading to find out more.
The lifeblood of transformers robots, energon fuels the epic action on cybertron and beyond. Now, imagine harnessing the transformers energy source with energon igniters figures. Convert this energon igniters power series megatron figure between robot and tank modes in 9 steps. Then plug the energon igniters core (not included) into the vehicle and push down to unleash driving action. This megatron figure stands at a 5-inch scale with eye-catching detailing. Look for the energon igniters core sold with power plus series and nitro series figures (each sold separately). Megatron rolls his optics at the autobots slowing down to protect the humans. With gladiator speed, he converts into tank mode and barrels through obstacles that stand in his way. Harness energon igniters tech and unleash the power within.

Based on this text from the Amazon listing page, it sounds like an iteration of the same concepts as Allspark Tech, The Last Knight's feature gimmick assortment. In this case, it sounds like the Core accessory will unlock action features in a manner similar to a Mini-Con or Powermaster - a step down from the electronics-focused behavior of the Allspark Tech line. We still have no product images to go along with this info, but we can reasonably expect they won't stray far from what you can currently go look at on shelves everywhere right now.

More Bumblebee: The Movie News
Via a photo tweeted out by the Licensing Expo's own Twitter account, we have a look at a new promotional logo for the Bumblebee movie, coming out later this year. There's not a whole lot of depth to examine here, simply showing an updated, more stylized font over a movie-style Autobot logo. As expected, this seems to be a headline feature at Paramount's booth at the expo. As for whether there's any more material from the movie on display, we'll just have to wait and see! Click through for the full photo and a crop in on the poster.
While we have been enjoying the spoils of the glorious G1esque Transformers Titans Return that relives all our G1 heroes in a whole new way. One of these characters is getting a full-on makeover to be readied for a whole new generation of fans that are believed to be entranced by the 80s and popular cultures from that era. It is no secret this unlikely new super-former is, Bumblebee. What has been a secret is how he's going to appeal to the young, the female, and the Transformers clueless where the Bayhem failed to reach.
ABOUT TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE MOVIE PREQUEL: FROM CYBERTRON WITH LOVE - Fan-favorite Autobot Bumblebee is recruited for a top secret mission, and 1960s London won’t know what hit it when this robot in disguise goes undercover.

Collider has interviewed director Travis Knight and talked about his experience directing Bumblebee: The Movie! Knight talks about his first time directing a live action film and how it compares to animation, his first time recalibrating a film in the wake of test screenings, the number of other Transformers in the film, and his experience with Hasbro. Bumblebee has been the topic of interest for us at today's CinemaCon showing in Las Vegas, and capping off the promotional effort for the day, a quick teaser was shown to attendees. No public video has emerged yet, but comicbook.com has posted a synopsis from one of their staffers attending the show, which features - as you might expect - Bumblebee, as well as Hailee Stienfeld in her lead role as Charlie. Plus a little bit of a surprise a little farther in. Keep reading to find out what was shown tonight!
