Imaginarium Art reveals their latest edition in the Transformers G1 series to be Wheeljack. The Autobot scientist gets his day in this cartoon accurate edition. The uncolored computer rendering shows us the character's torso complete with his shoulder missile and highly detailed robot mechanics. No word on pricing and release date, yet. It's a statue day, evidently! Having shown off an early stage sample of Galvatron
already today, Imaginarium Art has shared a photo on Facebook of a fully painted copy of their upcoming G1 Jazz statue. The post itself notes that there are refinements to be made - gun coloration potentially among them - but the sculpt work and styling for this statue looks fantastic even in its current form. Imaginarium Art breaks out the Galvatron preview on their social media page. Yet another one of their fabulous Transformers G1 action poses are coming to a statue near you, soon. There is no paint on this figure, its just a white test shot. But Galvy is looking pretty good with his signature arm-canon and menacing glare. No word on pricing or release date at this time. On Facebook, XM Studios has posted a new teaser render for an upcoming licensed Megatron statue they're working on. The highly stylized take on G1 Megatron has all of the recognizable elements, though done in a style that's more like movie-meets-G1. Interestingly it's also called out as being "1/10 scale". But without an indication what they're basing the "real" height on, that doesn't offer much clarity toward the size that this statue will ultimately be. Imaginarium Art posted a new teaser to Facebook for a future statue project, keeping up a constant pace of releases under development. The newest subject of their attention? Why, none other than Galvatron! The silhouette is unmistakable, and it may imply an interesting display base. Galvatron's shadow is planted atop the shape of Cybertron, so the resulting display piece may itself be Galvatron standing atop the planet. Unknown right now when we'll see more out of this development, but the prototype stage ought to be interesting when they're ready to share it!
Imaginarium recently shared a shot of the upper body of their upcoming Devastator statue
, showing off the general styling and detail level. Tonight they've continued downward, revealing the lower half of the body with a look at the legs and a considerable chunk of the base environment the statue stands on. Sadly these are not separate cuts of the same image in order to piece them back together - or I would have - but you can still get a good sense of the overall product between them. Direct from their Facebook page, we have a new preview image from Imaginarium Art for their upcoming Devastator statue. Though not in color for this image, it does a good job of showing off the extreme detail to be found in the upper body of the Constructicon combiner. It seems like it might take minor cues from the Combiner Wars interpretation in certain respects, like detailing implying Long Haul to be one of the super-giant dump trucks like the kind found around open-pit mines.
