G2 Superion finally officially went up for sale at retailers in the US in the early hours of January 15th. Shortly after that, we heard about the schedule for the next two Combiner Wars box sets. Adam Pawlus of 16bit.com tweeted the info about Menasor and Victorion, presumably learned via his employer, Entertainment Earth. Interestingly, he also noted that beyond those, there were sale dates still being kept secret, possibly referring to Computron, G2 Bruticus, and Liokaiser. But, as for Menasor and Victorion, keep reading to find out when to look for those sets!
According to Adam's tweet, Menasor is due in March, and Victorion in May. This gives a month in between each release, and so a pattern that we can start to follow. Right now we're aware of up to three possible Combiner Wars box sets. Bruticus which was officially revealed already and Computron which has an inventory listing are both at least reasonably certain to come out. The set based on Liokaiser as well, but without official word or more than a piece of artwork for now it's the most in question of what's been leaked thus far. But if the release pattern is maintained, those sets will be enough to continue Combiner Wars until November of 2016.
Hopefully somewhere in all of this planning there is still space for a G2 Defensor set to finish out the G2 foursome, though depending on how the releases are lined up, it could end up being the start of 2017 before that could have a chance to move out.
