Custom Toy Spotlight - Transformers Siege Orion Pax by Moggy Zpartuss

Transformers Siege is intended to depict early days of the war between Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron. But if you go back a little further, you'd find War Dawn, which introduces us to Orion Pax. Moggy Zpartuss on Twitter took inspiration from this, and set about creating an Orion Pax for the Siege line using Ironhide as the starting point.

With some paint work, stickers, and a head sourced from a prior Orion Pax toy, Moggy Zpartuss has fused a number of different Orion Pax interpretations together, making something really nice. We especially are digging the visual reference to Prime's trailer in the back half of the vehicle mode with stickers and silver paint. This also required altering the legs, turning the shins backwards so that they, along with the vehicle side panels, could present appropriate blue legs from the front and sides. Going well past just being a nice repaint, this clever idea for modifying how the toy works just helps to further distinguish it from the Ironhide it started out as.
