Movies / Daily PrimeI recently posted a Daily Prime about Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts Optimus Prime's face being modeled on voice actor Peter Cullen's human face, as confirmed by Director Stephen Cable Jr. However, we've seen this before. Hasbro took the hologram driver concept we saw in Blackout and Barricade, and applied it to the 2007 Transformers Optimus Prime Voyager class figure that activates a tiny Cowboy driver in truck mode.

An obvious homage to Peter Cullen, who is known for wearing a cowboy hat. The scene was further instantiated by artist Alex Milne with his holographic driver illustration in the 2008 Transformers: Alliance #1 comic (above). Shown here is the nice clean 2008 Voyager Optimus Prime with from Freeway Brawl Target Exclusive set.
