Daily Prime - Diablock Convoy VS LEGO Optimus Prime

History repeats itself, which can be a good thing. Thanks to Hasbro, who sent me the LEGO Transformers 10302 Optimus Prime to share with you. I am excited to get into this massive 35 cm / 13.7 inches tall Prime as well as look at other brick sets from the past.

Today, we have a little MIP compare with the 2007 Kawada Transormers Diablock 01 Convoy set. The Mecha Builder Vol. 3 Japan exclusive release also transforms from G1 robot to truck, but the similarities end there. Sadly, the 28 cm / 11-inch tall brick design with one eye is an abstract take on Convoy at best. Stay tuned for more looks at the BTR, KREO, LEGO and other blocky sides of Optimus Prime.
