I was surprised the Hot Wheels Collectors Optimus Prime sold out in less than 30 minutes. Even the $80 USD price didn't keep the scalpers away, who are now demanding as much as $200 for the 3.5 inch die-cast figure. This ain't the first metal Optimus Prime, as the 2006 Transformers Titanium were way ahead of Mattel with their own heavy metal transforming robot vehicles.
Thankfully, it was the Titanium series that gave us more than one of the magnificent War Within Intelligence Analyst Optimus Prime official character toys. Today, we're looking at the 2009 Transformers 25th Anniversary War Within Optimus Prime Target Exclusive 6-inch figure made in G1 colors. This edition has a more refined look than the brightly colored Comic and Ultra Magnus versions.
