Not a sequel to the original, II is a different ballgame with a whole new team lead by the stoic Maximal Lio Convoy who is a Lion in beast mode. Convoy's in charge of some characters you may recognize from the non-show toys released in America. Not unlike his ancestors, Lio Convoy's gone through some changes with the 1998 C-16 Flash Lio Convoy Movie Exclusive and 1998 C-16 Black Lio Convoy Toys R Us Exclusive editions, displayed with the 1998 D-21 God Neptune set to reflect on the Generations Selects news.
