One of the things I am most excited about for 2023, is the Transformers Legacy Armada Universe Optimus Prime Commander Class figure release hinted at in the Evolution Poster and listing recently leaked. Today we have a taste of the new Armada Universe with the Starscream voyager scale figure that Hasbro sent me to share with you. This total new mold is a great improvement over the chunky original. However, the puny Star Saber weapon indicates there won't be (m)any Mini-Cons in Legacy Evolution.

Judging by the Kingdom Rodimus Prime Commander set, I am guessing Legacy Armada Optimus Prime will be a Leader class figure with a combining trailer for the Super Mode. I am expecting nothing less than the Generations Selects Armada Optimus Prime (above) robot that Takara Tomy revealed at Wonderfest in 2019. All said, the 2002 Armada “Bendy” Optimus Prime Super-Con should be close to the size of the Legacy Evolution Leader robot. Shown here with the original Mini-Con Star Saber team (right), and the 2022 Legacy Evolution Starscream (left), that as usual, gets the short end of the stick.
