Daily Prime - Happy Birthday to a Year of Just Optimus Prime!

It is hard to believe the Daily Prime has been rolling out features every week-day for a whole year now. I wanted to show my collection for many years. When the downturn from the COVID-19 pandemic happened, it inspired me to start sharing different Prime toys as a way to entertain myself and others. Here we are a year later with more than 240 posts covering over 1,000 Optimus Prime toys already.

The greatest thing of all is the 100s of other fans and collectors I have met who share a love for the Autobot Leader. This made me realize early on that I wanted people to share these images. So I decided to format them like classic trading cards to help fans identify the toys and discover more Daily Prime posts.

This is just the beginning, what you have seen is just a small portion of my insanely huge Optimus Prime collection from the last 20 years. Drawing from 1,000s of toys and ephemera items starting with Takara's Diaclone up to the latest Hasbro releases of all kinds. I have learned so much about toys, collecting, and photography that I plan to do some updates of old features, keep creating new ones, and roll out much more that is JUST PRIME!

Today, I am looking back on the year with a retake of the very First Daily Prime Post on April 18, 2020 (above), featuring the Transformers Animated Legends Optimus Prime figures in a crude shelf shot taken with my phone.
