What's new is often a rehash of something old, and I must recall past attempts to make non-transforming robot figures with the intent of being screen accurate. A couple of them are shown here, left to right: 2002 Takara Mega SCF ACT 1 Convoy (left), 1998 Takara Timehouse Metalforce G-1 Optimus Prime mail-away exclusive (center), and the newly released R.E.D. G1 Optimus Prime (right) which is the best so far.
I have them both (including Nemesis) They are AWESOME.

The minicon is clear. I think that the price is good, I've seen it go for $70 a couple of times.
