The Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Enegron, and Cybertron) toys varied wildly between each series with the latter being my favorites for the strong Cybertronian design influence and a good mix of beasts (Animatros) and vehicles (Speedia). It will always be Takara's Galaxy Force to me because I preferred the drama and acting in the Japanese dubs of what was technically a different story from the Unicron Trilogy's Cybertron. Moreover, the Galaxy Force Convoy was stunning, packed with features, had three great modes, and he could combine with other characters in awesome ways.
Today's Prime shot takes a wild Wednesday look at the many editions of the voyager scale Galaxy Force Ligerjack / Cybertron Leobreaker molds. Another example of how complicated collecting Optimus Prime can be with both add-ons and repaints to find, this figure is both. Providing Galaxy Convoy with the awesome power-up Savage Claw Mode (see image above) it was a must-have for the Galaxy Force Convoy, then a Dark version for Megatron, and so on. The voyager Ligerjack mold has been reissued many times as the following, from left to right:
Cybertron Leobreaker (2005) - Has color differences from the Takara release with brown in place of gold and other app differences.
Galaxy Force GC-16 Ligerjack (2005) - This figure's got a different name and more vivid colors with gold paint and other details.
Universe Leo Prime (2009) - Target exclusive release colored after the Beast Wars II Lio Convoy with a new head sculpt.
Universe Classics 2.0 Leo Prime (2009) - Transformers 25th Anniversary release in Optimus Prime's Generation 1 colors and new G1 head.
BotCon Razorclaw (2009) - The 201X convention exclusive as a member of the Predacon Razorclow with a new head sculpt.
Galaxy Force EX-01 Dark Liegerjack (2005) - The Toys 'R' Us exclusive was offered traditional Black Convoy / Nemesis Prime edition as Megaton's Dark Claw mode but also pairs well with the darker colored Galaxy Force Galaxy Convoy.
Cybertron Nemesis Breaker - (2006) The traditional Black Convoy / Nemesis Prime edition released by Hasbro. Mostly the same deco as Takara's with the tattoo placed on the opposite side.
