I can't help but carry on about the new Transformers Legacy Evolution Armada Universe Optimus Prime Commander class figure, with a look at the Super Mode! Hard to believe all that figure emerged from the cab and trailer, but the combined robot mode is the biggest improvement to the 2002 original release.
The Super Mode is clearly the star of the show in the Legacy update. The Super Pants have come off to give us glorious mobility with joints in the waist, legs, feet, and more for a BIG bendy Optimus Prime. Shown here with the original 2002 Air Defense Mini-con team Star Saber. This guy is really solid, it is just loads of fun, and looks so good. Shame there aren't more 5 mm ports for Battle Masters and Mini-cons to use with the Autobot Leader. We will have to see how well the Mini-cons pile on when we take a look at the Base Mode, next.
If you flip out the trailer stands in Super Mode, they look like the knee cannons from the original toy.
