Generation 1 Japan / Daily PrimeMint In Package (MIP) Monday returns to the Return of Convoy, the Japan-only 1991 cartoon series that saw the original Optimus Prime return as the awesome C-327 Star Convoy (left). With the continuation of the Micromasters from the Zone series, Takara designed Convoy's base mode to become Hot Rod's command center for the included Micromaster Hot Rod figure exclusive to the set. The C-327 not only worked as a base for other Micromasters, it was also made to work with other Return of Convoy figures like the C-360 Sky Garry (right) as a trailer or a connected base.
