Daily Prime - Transformers 15th Anniversary Colorful Convoy

The year 2000 was a shining time, not only did we survive the near-meltdown of civilization from the year 2000 bug. Takara got so overly sentimental for the 15th Anniversary of the debut of "Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers" (Transformers Generation 1) in Japan. They produced a bunch of Convoy and Ultra Magnus reissues to celebrate. Today's shot takes a look at the following 2000 and associated releases as (L to R):

C-69 Ultra Mangus - 15th Anniversary reissue,

01 Convoy Black Version - JAFCon 2000 Tokyo show exclusive.

C-69 Shining Magnus - 20th Century Toy Museum 2000 edition limited to 800. Homage reflects the glowing colors when Ultra Magnus recieves the Matrix of Leadership.

C-69 Ultra Magnus Yokokuhen - Toy Show 2001 edition limited to 1,500. A homage to the TF:TM Ultra Magnus' early working colors, which were a homage to the Diaclone Powered Convoy, later changed to G1 colors.
