When the Transformers rolled out in 1984, having a computer at home was an expensive luxury that very few kids had. As a result, there was no shortage of licensed Transformers writing implements such as finders, notebooks, pens, erasers, pencils, and sharpeners to keep things on point when it came to school. Today we are looking at one of them, the Generation 1 vintage Optimus Prime pencil sharpener made by Randim Marketing in 1985. The sharpeners were sold in two variations, packed with a pencil and without, for about one dollar.
Another one of my favorite G1 artifacts.
