Long before we got the Transformers Minimates, designers in Japan worked up a whole line of the tiny figure versions of their Microman, Henshin Cyborg, Transformers, Tsubaraya, and other SciFi characters. The 2003 Myclone wave 1 Convoy (left) is shown in anime colors next to the 2021 Minimates Optimus Prime (right).
