With all the talk about the "Weaponizers" these days, I keep thinking about the first time I heard that name for the Transformers Primes "Weaponizers" figures that rolled out in 2012. Obviously, things have changed...
Instead of adding to the outside of the figure, the 2012 Weaponizers class had built-in weapons inside the figure that could be activated in robot and vehicle modes. This was a fun idea, adding two massive Quick Draw Cannons (Gatling guns) that actually spin to a leader scale figure was awesome and doubled the number of modes to four, with guns and without. Shown here with the 2013 Prime Beast Hunters Optimus Prime edition that was recolored in green and added a massive sword for hunting Preadcons.
