Daily Prime - Transformers RID Spy Changer Scourge

With the official Transformers Fanstream reveal today of the Transformers Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Robots In Disguise 2000 Universe Scourge. I thought it would be nice to feature a little Scourge on the Daily Prime as well. Today we have a look at the 2002 Robots In Disguise Spy Changer Scourge figure.

The G2 Gobots figures molds were recast as Spy Changer characters in the Car Robots Japan series, but there was no Laser Spy Changer mold in G2. It wasn't until Scourge (right) was released by Hasbro in 2002 as a mini version of the RID Character. Oddly enough, coming before the G2 Laser Optimus Prime colors (left) release in the 2004 Universe series. This mold was later released in the original RID branded carded 2-pack with X-Brawn in Japan as a "USA Edition".
