Exclusive No More? The Last Knight Premier Edition Hot Rod Listed on Amazon

It surely has not escaped anyone's notice that we're quite a while past the theatrical release of Transformers: The Last Knight, and a fair number of the exclusives allocated (in the United States) to Walmart from the movie's toyline are yet to materialize, notably including the premier Edition Deluxe Hot Rod. Today a question arises whether those exclusive plans may have been abandoned, as a listing for the Deluxe Hot Rod has turned up on Amazon, showing packaging lacking any exclusive identifiers. What's going on? Keep reading...

Currently we have no verifiable information either way to determine whether Hot Rod's status in the US has changed. It's definitely not a secret that Walmarts in general have been burdened heavily with wave one of Premier Edition Deluxes, leaving little room to stock anything new. That being the case, Walmart and Hasbro may have "mutually" agreed to cancel the exclusivity of some or all of the remaining Autobots Unite subline products in the US, to be reallocated to other outlets. From what little we can see of this listing it does not immediately appear to be a third party seller on Amazon importing from Hasbro Asia stock, but at the moment there's simply not enough information in any direction to make a call on this one.
