FansProject Speaks About Saurus Ryu-Oh Dino Shell Situation

In a rare show of direct communication with its customers, FansProject has posted to Facebook to explain the situation regarding the Pretender shells for their unofficial Dinoforce figures. This has been an ongoing issue for some time, ever since the first shell toy was released exclusively via convention sales at an unexpectedly high price, leading to the shell project as a whole to be called to question. Ultimately, the plan is to produce a very limited number, which are heavily implied to carry with them again a high cost. Keep reading to see the original message.

FansProject expressed in their post that seeing the shells through to production is effectively a passion project for them, something they feel they have to do so that even just a few of their fans will be able to finish the entire set that they desire. At the same time, the post is written with a great deal of language seemingly designed to talk people off of wanting to finish a set of both robots and dino shells. It's notable that they cite how the cost of production for these pieces is even taxing their resources. While it had been said in the past that appropriate shells for the Monstructor-equivalent versions of their figures were being considered, it's probably safe to assume now that such a notion is off the table.
