It seems that we have our very first look at 2016's Masterpiece Optimus Primal, from a scan out of one of this month's hobby magazines. Announced at about the same time as Botcon this year with a very early beast mode mockup, Masterpiece Optimus Primal is seen here as rough renders of beast and robot modes, along with small turnaround sketches, which seem to imply the ape mode can stand upright as frequently seen in Beast Wars.
